I had my car with 409 Auto Collision on December 2,2007. It was a rear bumper and side repair as the car slid on ice and hit a concrete wall. I met with one of the managers (Aby) who was kind and told me that they would take care of everything, and also pay $500 deductible on the claim. Sounds good, right? He told me the job would take 2 weeks. They use one of their rental car affiliate named Zoom Car Rental and get me a car to drive in the meantime. I got my car back on January 18, 2008. SEVEN weeks later... Also paying $375 out of my pocket for the extra days that Zoom Auto Rental neglected to inform me about until I came to get MY car back...When I do get my car I discover that the car's rims were bent and bearings needed replacing and that they didn't install the wheel guard and Chevy decals they removed. This was totally unsafe and they shouldn't have given me the car to drive at that point. Now I meet another manager by the name of "Max" - he tells me that everything is okay and that he will give me one of their own in-house rental cars to use while they fix the problem. February 4, 2008 -- A full TWO MONTHS later, I get my car back in "working" condition, complete with new scratches at the front fender and cracked passenger mirror. It is now March as I am writing this, they haven't met my needs as a customer or given me any piece of mind. I would not support this business.
